Soprano Stephanie Lewey, a Dallas resident, has been singing for over 15 years. She has been actively performing with the North Texas chapter of Opera On Tap since its 2011 inception. For the last two years, she has been heavily involved with Open Classical and their various events throughout the Metroplex.
Ms. Lewey is a member of Stonebriar Community Church’s Sanctuary Choir and thoroughly enjoys working with the Gloria Dei Youth Choir. While attending University of Central Oklahoma, she performed the role of Monica in Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Medium. Through directing projects and the scenes program, also at the University of Central Oklahoma, she performed Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Clara in Light in the Piazza, and Meg in Little Women.
Ms. Lewey was selected to participate in the Centro Studi Italiani Opera Festival in Urbania, Italy where she had the privilege of working with Maestro Ubaldo Fabbri. She has studied under Dr. Jeffrey Snider, Pamela Green, and U'Nita Sweatmon.
