Open Classical joins with Ballet Dallas for a beautiful evening of dance and live music. Formerly with Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Durante Verzola's new work for Ballet Dallas, Trio for Six, is created to three beautiful Mozart piano trios which will be performed live by Open Classical under the direction of Open Classical director Mark Landson. Pianist Sunny Yun and cellist Sebastian Kozub will perform with Landson on violin.
On the same program, Ballet Dallas Co-Artistic Director Carter Alexander premieres a full company work to the music of avant-garde French composer Darius Milhaud, as well as re-staging his duet Sarabande to the music of Bach, also with live accompaniment.
