Bethany Wildes
Violin
Violinist Bethany Wildes is a native of Portland, Maine. She has studied at Baltimore School for the Arts, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and most recently Southern Methodist University, where she earned her Masters of Music in Violin Performance as a student of Diane Kitzman.
An active performer, Bethany has been a member of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra and participated in festivals in the USA, Mexico, Italy, Panama & Canada. Bethany has also given recitals at the German Embassy, the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C., Oberlin College-Conservatory of Music, Southern Methodist University, University of North Texas, University of Texas Dallas – Richardson and Mountain View Community College.
Bethany currently performs with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, Plano Symphony Orchestra, Irving Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Dallas Chamber Orchestra, Metroplex Opera, San Angelo Symphony & the European Ensemble. In addition, Bethany teaches both violin & viola privately in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD & McKinney ISD.
