Join us for a jaw dropping performance by Dina Nesterenko, violinist, joined by Mark Landson on viola.
Dina Nesterenko is reknown for her virtuoso arrangements for solo violin, and she will perform several of them, including her famous Beethoven Fifth, as well as Barbie Girl Chaconne and Queen’s The Show Must Go On. Together with violist Mark Landson, they will do beaturiful duos from Mozart, Piazzolla, and an exciting arrangement of the Hans Zimmer score from Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Saturday June 1 free program is amplified and takes place outside on the patio stage of the Angelika Film Center at Mockingbird Station. Seating and tables are available for your comfort, or bring your own folding chairs. A big thank you to our partners, Classical Radio WRR 101, University Crossing Public Improvement District, and Mockingbird Station for providing funding, marketing and logistial support for this community event.
The Sunday June 2 performance is all acoustic, in the intimate private room of Times Ten Wine Cellars. $30 for reserved seats, or you may RSVP for Name-Your-Own-Price General Admission.
