OPEN CLASSICAL ARTIST SERIES is proud to present Dallas Symphony Principal Hornist David Cooper absolutely shredding one of the most challenging and rewarding horn concertos ever written, Richard Strauss horn Concerto #1. David plans to simply lay into this beast and dominate the creature from beginning to end, and you can behold the majesty of his triumph in this concert.
Joining David on the program is Fort Worth Symphony principal trumpet player Kyle Sherman, performing some brass gymnastics of his own.
On the piano will be Mikhail Berestnev, a ridiculously talented specimen of pianistic vituosity who is from Russia, but makes his home in the DFW area.
